Mitsubishi Start Production i-MiEV, Peugeot and Citroen C-ion ZERO

Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) to start electric car production at the factory iMiEV European specifications, Mizuhima, Japan. This car will also use the brand Peugeot (ion) and Citroën (C-ZERO) of the PSA Peugeot Citroen, France. For fiscal year 2010 (April 2010 – March 2011), MMC selling 5,000 units of i-MiEV to market outside of Japan, including a model for the PSA.

Mitsubishi plans to sell the i-MiEV to 14 European countries starting this December, namely Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, France, Britain, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Swiss.Pada fiscal year 2011, the number of countries marketing of electric cars will increase.
Differences
The difference between the i-MiEV European specification with the Japanese version of the front and rear bumper design. Car safety features and controls have been improved. In the interior, dashboard and center console display changed to get a cabin better suited to European tastes.
One of the added safety feature is the Active Stability Control (ASC). In the center console, also changed the transmission shifting lever. I-MiEV mileage European specification can reach 150 km with one full battery charge, according to the standard NEDC2.
